Since the start of the peaceful protests on 14 February last year, the Bahraini government continues targeting activists by attacking them, arresting, torturing and sometimes killing them, dismissing them from their workplaces, bounding their freedom and abstracting their daily life and their activities including the protests that take place daily in most Bahrain villages.

After the release of Bahraini activist Murtada Almuqdad on 27-6-2012 where he was arrested on 31-3-2012 he was then arrested again because of his opinions and activities on social media networks and for expressing his opinions despite the presence of threats of detention and torture.

The Activist murtada almuqdad he is a member of the European – Bahraini Organization For Human Rights called his family from the detention place he was at  known as ‘ the dry dock prison’. He complain from a broken nose, and pain in his eye and back due to the torture he was exposed to at the detention center, he mentioned that police forces arrested him on the street and transferred him to several detention centers, where he was torture till the next day, in order to get a false confessions from him, and make him sign on papers that they didn’t allow him to read, even though the law states that the prisoner has the rights to read what he is accused of under any circumstances.

The activist Murtada Almuqdad is 21 years old he is a university student in his first year of education, and the son of one of the opposition leaders that are sentenced to a life time in prison, Abduljaleel Almuqdad, who is sentenced in one the biggest cases that were raised in front of Bahrain courts and that is the case of ‘21 activist’. Murtada mentioned to his family that a number of security forces vehicles were in the area after some people went out to protests that were called for by the Bahraini opposition parties whom were representing political societies, mean while Murtada was walking to the bakery and some of security forces vehicles surrounded him and arrested him without showing any warrant, and they hit his head to the wall, and broke his nose and his eye swelled up, they then forced him into one of the vehicles, where they took him to an empty space near his grandfathers’ house in Bilad Alqadeem area, he was tortured there by means of punching and kicking for about an hour. After the ordeal they transferred him to AlKhamis police station where some civilian and security forces there tortured him, then again they transferred him to Nabeeh Saleh police station and then to Qudaibia station and then finally sent for forensic investigations in Adlia, in all these station he was torture severely. He was then taken to the general prosecution where they sentenced him there for a15 day detention for investigations, for cases he was falsely accused of and where he was forced to sign on.

The activist Murtada Almuqdad, a Bahraini blogger and a member of the European – Bahraini Organization For Human Rights was arrested in an illegal and unjustified way, and he is now under detention because of the irresponsible acts of security forces, even though he is just a citizen who left his house to by some bread thinking that he lived in a legal state where his rights are protected by law, instead it is the opposite, he was arrested and tortured systematically meaning that keeping him in detention is illegal.

The   European – Bahraini Organization For Human Rights calls the Bahrain authorities for the importance of putting into consideration the UN goals and principles in order to support and protect human rights and basic rights for all citizens, and to ensure the responsibilities and the duties to protect human rights and basic freedoms are lay on the government.

We the   European – Bahraini Organization for Human Rights demand Bahrain authorities to:

-  Immediately release of organization member Murtada Almuqdad.

-  Drop all the charges against him.

-   Bring to trail those who arrested and tortured him as it should be easy to identify them since they did these systematically and in detentions centers.

-  We demand the public prosecution to cease their double standards and their allying with security section.

-  Open an immediate investigation and publish its results, and work with the recommendation with claims and investigation of human violations.

نطالب بالإفراج الفوري عن عضو المنظمة الناشط مرتضى عبد الجليل المقداد وحماية حقوق الانسان والحريات الاساسية يقعان على عاتق الدولة

منذ ان بدأت الاحتجاجات السلمية في ١٤ شباط/فبراير من السنة الماضية والحكومة البحرينية مستمرة في استهدافها للنشطاء بالاعتداء والاعتقال والتعذيب والقتل احياناً والفصل والتشهير وتقييد حريتهم بشكل كبير وعرقلة حياتهم اليومية ونشاطاتهم التي تتضمن الاحتجاجات الحاصلة يوميا في شتى قرى البحرين.

بعد الإفراج عن الناشط البحريني مرتضى المقداد في تاريخ 27-6-2012  بعد ان اعتقل في تاريخ 31-مارس-2012 ومضى ما يقارب الثلاثة أشهر  رهن الإعتقال تم اعتقاله مجددا بسبب آرائه ونشاطاته في شبكات التواصل الإجتماعي والتعبير عن رأيه المشروع في ظل وجود تهديدات بإعتقاله وسجنه وتعذيبه.

اتصل الناشط مرتضى المقداد بأسرته وهو عضو في المنظمة الاوروبية – البحرينية لحقوق الإنسان من مركز احتجازه  بسجن الحوض الجاف و شكى من كسر ٍ في أنفه وآلام في عينه وظهره جرّاء التعذيب الذي تعرض له أثناء الإحتجاز في مراكز التوقيف، حيث ذكر أن قوات الأمن البحرينية التي ألقت القبض عليه كانت قد اعتقلته من الطريق ونقلته إلى عدة مراكز توقيف تم تعذيبه فيها حتى اليوم الآخر من إعتقاله بقصد نزع اعترافات وهمية وتهم نسبت إليه والتوقيع على أوراق لم يسمح له بقرائتها بينما من حق السجين قرآئة ما ينسب إليه تحت أي ظرف من الظروف.

ذكر الناشط مرتضى المقداد لأسرته وهو ذو ال21 ربيعا وهو طالب جامعي في السنة الأولى من تعليمه وأيضا ابن أحد زعماء المعارضة والمحكوم بالمؤبد المواطن عبدالجليل المقداد في أكبر القضايا التي رفعت امام المحاكم البحرينية وهي قضية النشطاء ال21، أشار مرتضى إلى أن عدد من سيارات قوات الأمن كانت تجوب المنطقة بعد خروج عدة مسيرات شعبية كانت  قد دعت إليها قوى المعارضة البحرينية المتمثلة في الجمعيات السياسية حيث كان هو يمشي متجها الى المخبز حتى حاصرته سيارات قوات الامن و ألقت القبض عليه من دون ابداء أي مذكرة قبض وتم ضرب رأسه بالجدار مما أدى إلى كسر في أنفه وتورّم في عينه، بعد ذلك تم إرغامه بالدخول إلى إحدى السيارات الامنية بالقوة وانزاله في براحة أمام منزل جده في منطقة البلاد القديم حيث تم تعذيبه هناك باللكمات والهراوات والركلات لمدة ساعة، بعد ذلك تم نقله إلى مركز شرطة الخميس وقام عدد من رجال الامن المدنيين بتعذيبه فيها ومن ثم نقلوه الى مركز شرطة النبيه صالح وأيضا مركز شرطة القضيبية وأخيرا التحقيقات الجنائية بالعدلية في كل المراكز المذكورة تم تعذيبه بشدة وبعد ذلك اخذ الى النيابة العامة التي قامت بدورها بالحكم غليه خمسة عشرة يوما على ذمة التحقيق بتهم قد تم تلفيقها له مما اضطره بالتوقيع على اوراق لا يعرف محتواها تحت الإكراه والتعذيب.

الناشط مرتضى المقداد هو مدون بحريني وأحد أعضاء المنظمة الأوروبية – البحرينية لحقوق الإنسان تم القبض عليه بطريقة غير قانونية وغير مبررة وهو الآن رهن الإحتجاز بسبب ممارسات رجال الأمن اللامسؤولة وهو مواطن بحريني حاول الخروج من منزله ليشتري الخبز ظنا ً منه أنه في دولة قانونية تحمي المواطنين، بينما تم اعتقاله وتعذيبه بشكل ممنهج مما يعني أن استمرار حبسه غير قانوني.

ان المنظمة الاوروبية – البحرينية لحقوق الإنسان تدعوا السلطات البحرينية على اهمية مراعاة مقاصد الامم المتحدة ومبادئه من اجل تعزيز وحماية حقوق الانسان والحريات الاساسية لجميع المواطنين و تؤكد ان المسؤولية والواجب الرئيسيين في تعزيز وحماية حقوق الانسان والحريات الاساسية يقعان على عاتق الدولة.

نحن المنظمة الأوروبية – البحرينية لحقوق الإنسان نطالب السلطات البحرينية :

-          بالإفراج الفوري عن عضو المنظمة مرتضى المقداد.

-          اسقاط جميع التهم عنه.

-          محاسبة ومعاقبة ومحاكمة من قام بإلقاء القبض عليه وتعذيبه حيث يسهل معرفة من قام بتلك الممارسات الممنهجة في مراكز التوقيف.

-          نطالب النيابة العامة البحرينية بعدم ازدواجية المعايير والتوقف عن تواطئها مع الجهاز الأمني.

-          فتح تحقيق فوري وجاد ونشر النتائج والعمل بالتوصيات وعدم المماطلة في المطالبات والتحقيقات المتعلقة بانتهاكات حقوق الإنسان.
